課程概述	小動物呼吸系統疾病涵蓋鼻腔、咽喉、氣管、支氣管、肺臟實質與胸膜腔的各類疾病，小動物臨床呼吸醫學課程將協助學生瞭解各種呼吸症狀之病生理機轉與鑑別診斷方法，學習呼吸系統的各種診斷工具之應用，如胸腔放射線或超音波影像、支氣管內視鏡、呼吸道細胞學、胸膜腔穿刺與積液分析、肺臟生檢、肺功能檢查等，瞭解呼吸治療之基本概念與方法，以及學習常見疾病的診斷、治療與預後。
課程目標	認識小動物常見呼吸疾病之診斷治療及預後，瞭解如何運用病史資訊與身體檢查建立鑑別診斷，運用適合之各種呼吸疾病診斷工具與治療方法。 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 課程進度: [01] 小動物臨床呼吸醫學課程簡介 Course introduction and overview [02] 呼吸系統症狀與其病生理意義 (I) Clinical signs associated with respiratory system and basic pathophysiology (I) [03] 呼吸系統症狀與其病生理意義 (II) Clinical signs associated with respiratory system and basic pathophysiology (II) [04] 診斷呼吸系統問題 – 病史分析與身體檢查方法 Approach and localize the problems with the use of history and physical examination [05] 呼吸疾病診斷工具 – 胸腔X光片、胸腔斷層掃瞄、胸腔超音波 Respiratory system diagnostics – Thoracic imaging: Chest radiography, lung HRCT and chest ultrasonography [06] 呼吸疾病診斷工具 – 呼吸系統內視鏡 (鼻鏡、咽喉鏡、氣管鏡、支氣管鏡)、氣管沖洗、支氣管肺泡灌洗術、胸膜腔與肺臟穿刺、呼吸系統細胞學 Respiratory system diagnostics – Rhinoscopy, laryngoscopy/pharyngoscopy, tracheoscopy, bronchoscopy, tracheal wash, bronchoalveolar lavage, thoracocentesis, lung FNA and respiratory cytology [07] 呼吸疾病診斷工具 – 血氧、二氧化碳濃度監測、動脈血液氣體分析、肺功能檢查 Respiratory system diagnostics – Pulse oximetry, capnography, arterial blood gas and pulmonary function test [08] 呼吸治療 – 氧氣治療、呼吸系統藥物、呼吸器簡介 Respiratory therapeutics – Oxygen therapy, drugs affecting the respiratory system, and introduction to mechanical ventilation [09] 鼻腔與鼻竇疾病(I) Disorders of nasal cavity and sinuses (I) [10] 鼻腔與鼻竇疾病(II) Disorders of nasal cavity and sinuses (II) [11] 咽喉疾病 Disorders of pharynx and larynx [12] 氣管與支氣管疾病 (I) Disorders of trachea and bronchi (I) [13] 氣管與支氣管疾病 (II) Disorders of trachea and bronchi (II) [14] 氣管與支氣管疾病 (III) Disorders of trachea and bronchi (III) [15] 肺實質疾病 (I) Disorders of lung parenchyma (I) [16] 肺實質疾病 (II) Disorders of lung parenchyma (II) [17] 胸膜腔、橫膈與胸壁疾病 Disorders of pleura, pleural space, diaphragm and chest wall [18] 期末考 Final exam
